Yohan Roche pleacă spre Cupa Africii după ultimul meci pentru Petrolul în 2025

Pentru Yohan Roche (28 ani), partida cu Universitatea Cluj a fost ultima disputată în 2025 în tricoul Petrolului. Fundașul central a părăsit terenul și a plecat spre Paris, urmând să se îndrepte apoi spre Maroc, unde se va reuni cu lotul naționalei Beninului pentru Cupa Africii. Competiția va avea loc între 21 decembrie și 18 ianuarie, potrivit ziarulprahova.ro.

Benin se află în Grupa D, alături de RD Congo, Botswana și Senegal. Echipa lui Roche va juca împotriva RD Congo pe 23 decembrie (ora 14.30), cu Botswana pe 27 decembrie (ora 14.30) și cu Senegal pe 30 decembrie (ora 21.00). Primele două clasate vor avansa în sferturile de finală.

Roche a evoluat în 17 partide pentru FC Petrolul în actualul sezon și a adunat 21 de selecții pentru naționala de fotbal a Beninului. În ultima perioadă, fundașul a fost un titular constant la echipa condusă de antrenorul german Gernot Rorh, subliniind astfel rolul important pe care îl are în această competiție internațională.
