Un test revoluționar pentru detectarea gripei ar putea înlocui în viitor tampoanele nazale cu o metodă mult mai confortabilă, folosind gumă de mestecat sau pastile care utilizează limba pentru diagnosticare. Această tehnologie promite să schimbe abordarea actuală a screeningului.

Specialiștii au dezvoltat un senzor molecular care, prin contactul cu virusul gripal, eliberează o aromă distinctă, semnalizând astfel prezența bolii. Această inovație ar facilita mult testarea la domiciliu, oferind o alternativă simplă și rapidă.

Potrivit ziarulprahova.ro, această tehnologie ar putea transforma modul în care oamenii își verifică starea de sănătate acasă, reducând disconfortul și posibilitatea erorilor asociate cu metodele convenționale. „O aromă specifică eliberată în prezența virusului gripal oferă o soluție inedită pentru diagnostic.”

Astfel, viitorul testelor pentru gripă pare promițător prin utilizarea limbii ca instrument principal de detectare, ceea ce ar putea eficientiza semnificativ procesul de depistare și intervenție timpurie în cazul infectării.
