WACO, Texas - A judge has ruled in favor of the Boerne team, paving the way for them to go to the Little League World Series. We told you about this on Monday night, and have updated it each and every step along the way today and as it turns out there is nothing wrong with little league baseball, except grown ups. On Tuesday, judge Ryan Luna, the Mclennan County District Judge in Waco, dissolved his own temporary restraining order that he issued Monday night, after the Boerne little league and little league international lawyered up and filed a 330 page emergency motion that outlined exactly how the Tulsa organization used an ineligible player during the southwest regional tournament. All's well that ends well, and coach Greg Yost said his kids are now ready for Williamsport. It goes without saying that injunctions, and hearings don't belong in little league sports but Boerne never doubted today's outcome. The team spent the day at the pool, parents booked flights and hotels, and they had no intention of going back to Waco or being forced to play tonight. Add Defector to Google Lachlan Cunningham/Getty Images103CommentsThe San Francisco Giants don't get to announce anything fun these days, but it would be too cheap even by the prevailing clearance-sale standards to lump the latest bit of ill news relating to the team in with all the others, so we won't.
